I’ve tried installing the LanguageTool and WritingTool extensions to help with checking grammar because I like using Writer and am thinking about ditching Microsoft Office, but whenever I go into Options > Writing Aids > Edit, whenever I select the grammar options and Apply or OK them, when I reopen the menu, it shows the grammar options unselected. What’s going on?
You have Java enabled?
I think so? I checked the version in the terminal, and it said 19, so unless it’s installed but inactive, it shouldn’t be an issue.
