Zero-value Calc cells in pdf export

When I choose to not display zero values in Calc, it successfully blanks the zero-value cells on screen, but when I export to pdf, the zero values are back. How can I make the pdf match the on-screen display? Thanks

Note that there are:

• Options → Calc → View → Display: Zero values;
• Page Style → Sheet → Print: Zero values.
