Zoom factor on opening calc file

Hi all.
How can I change defaults of Calc, such that full screen width is used when opening a file?

I’m using Version: 25.8.2.2 (X86_64)
Build ID: d401f2107ccab8f924a8e2df40f573aab7605b6f
CPU threads: 4; OS: macOS 13.7.8; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: osx
Locale: de-DE (de_DE.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

You are mixing two very differnt things.
I lack experinces with a “Mac”, but surely also under this OS the last or preferred size of the application frame will be stored for the application, not to the files it uses.
Zoom factors are stored with the file. For some time now they don’t need to be the same for all the sheets of a Calc document. See >Tools>Preferences>LibreOffice Calc>>View>>Zoom.

Thank you for your reply, and yes, you’re right, on MAcOS the windows are re-opened in same size - almost every time.

There are moments, however, when my spreadsheet does not show the same size as before and I have to adjust it. I just can’t figure out what determines the difference. App restart, screen change, moon falling out of the sky? No idea.

Anyhow, I will continue observing and may come back on this topic.
