left [ { matrix{1 # 2 # 3 ## 4 #1 # -2 ## -3 # -4 # -5} } right ]

Dear Friends

Here is an example of a matrix I want to type the answer to. My problem is I want it all to line up neatly the presence of - (minus) signs messes up my neat matrix.

Any ideas on how to straighten and neaten the matrix into neat and square columns.

Thank you for your time and suggestions

Regards

Godfrey

Try with:

left [ alignr { { matrix{1 # 2 # 3 ## 4 #1 # -2 ## -3 # -4 # -5} } } right ]
