last return after table cannot be deleted

I have a table at the end of writer document. The table should be the last line of a 1 page document. No there is one carriage return at after the table and I cannot delete this. Therefore, the table is not really at the bottom of the page.

I remember a few month ago there was a similar question but I cannot find this question and its answer anymore.
