I got used to this nifty quicklauncher icon down im my taskbar and it was very very speedy to just rightclick on this icon to then be able to launch any kind of libreoffice application.

Now in version 6 I cannot find it anymore. (I am here on Linux - could be that it is still there in Windows)

Please bring it back in Linux.

Thanks a lot!

Don't have 6.01 installed but have dev version. Memory page where it used to reside is no longer there but have a look under Libreoffice->General. I have it on bottom of right panel.

There is a strange entry in 6.0 release notes, telling that "The Linux Quickstarter is removed." - which is stroke-out, so unclear if it's true or not. Also, I couldn't find a reference to the commit or bug report for that, so no idea if that's the real thing.

this post is marked as community wiki

This post is a wiki. Anyone with karma >75 is welcome to improve it.

Just double checked it: Under "General" I cannot find it. Last entry on bottom is "Help improve Libre Office". (Sorry, got different language pack installed so I do not know how it will look like in the english version.

Here a screeny:

and thats how it looked like before:

Sorry, was not done deliberately. Wanted to remove this wiki tick too but did not know how.

On my Linux-Mint 6.0.1 LibO (En-GB) system Quickstarter is there on TOOLS > OPTIONS > LIBREOFFICE > GENERAL > Enable Systray Quickstarter.

Sorry. Restarted LibO with 5.4 version and it has now disappeared. Restarted 6.0.1 and it is back again! A puzzle.

Restarted my PC now. Restarted LO. Ticked "experimental Features" - unticked it. Started again. No Quickstarter. :( (Linux Mint 18 / LO (5.4) - de-DE)
