How to fix double standard palette?

Sometime in the last few weeks, I find that my list of color palettes (looking at Calc here) has two palettes both titled "standard". By default, every time I want to select a color, the drop-down menu opens to the first (topmost) one -- unfortunately, this first one is actually blank, devoid of any colors to select. It is the second "standard" in the list (further down) which is the actual LO standard color choices that I'm trying to use. However, every time I select a color I need to find and switch to the second "standard" palette, losing me quite a bit of time on every color selection.

How can I fix this problem of having two "standard" color palettes, the default-opened one being blank? (e.g.: how to delete the blank palette, move it to the bottom, set default to the second one, etc.)

Color palettes are supplied by LibreOffice, including the "Standard" color palette. In addition to the color palette of LibreOffice it is possible to create your own color palettes. The color palette of LibreOffice and your own are housed in different paths. An explanation of the paths under Windows can be found here. For other operating systems, this may be different. Under certain circumstances, it helps to specify where the user profile can be found. The files of the color palettes have the extension ".soc". You can open these with a normal text editor and determine which of the standard files entries are present, and which is empty. I wish you success.

Deleting the extra palette in the user profile solved my problem. Thanks so much for that information and link!
