I have been trying to install libreoffice over beta linux on my chromebook, for some reason I cannot find it in the gnome center. Any ideas as to how to install? Thank you. BTW I'm new to linux. Again thank you for any help offered.

Your Chromebook sports an ARM chipset;
that CPU architecture is not supported by LO (excluding LO for Android);
for this reason Gnome Software does not show you anything.

I think (I do not own a Chromebook...) there is no solution for your problem!

@mattia.b89 this link How to install LibreOffice on a chromebook Acer 730 helps to install libreoffice with armchip processors. Thank you for your help though.
