When cut is used, it changes formulas, I use cells with formulas while sorting, so if cut is used, it changes the way it sort’s, sort follows the cut cell formula! C:\fakepath\Verses saved & Sorted.ods

To "unfollow" a cut cell you must do the cut in two steps. First copy, then delete. This maintains the address for all references to the cell you move data from. There is no way in Calc to make the cut+paste commands behave like copy+delete+paste.

A better solution in most cases is to have formulas referencing indirectly (by lookup functions). I didn't examine your formula to determine whether that is a viable route for you.
