If you want to use the dictionary within the same spreadsheet, you can use the following trick

Use Sheet-Named Ranges and Expressions-Labels

Describe the abbreviation column as row headings

Now use the equal sign (=) and abbreviation to enter the phrase

Calc will prompt input options, as does this when entering function names - you can press Ctrl+Tab and Enter to select the desired option

Another suggestion (not too thoroughly considered).

The abbreviation of up to four characters is created (suggested) automaticlly therein.

Missed to mention: The suggested solution for 'All Findings' is based on the TEXTJOIN() function, an add-in only working sufficiently in LibreOffice V 5.4 or higher.
