Strange Libreoffice 3.5 behaviour

Hello,
I have always used Libreoffice since the first release.
When I had to upgrade to the 3.5 version I decided to remove it permanently.
There is a terrible bug that makes Libreoffice (especially Writer) unusable.
Just open Writer on a blank document, wait some seconds and Writer will crash.
The bug is really annoying because it happens when you start to write something.
This bug has not been corrected since the first release of Libreoffice 3.5.0.
Libreoffice 3.4.x is not affected.
Hope someone will fix it as soon as possible.
I’m using Windows 7 32 bit.

Take a look to this thread:

Unfortunately I have tried that method and doesn’t work.
The real problem is that Libreoffice has been released too soon.
Consider that the first final release of Libreoffice 3.5 was only an unstable RC version with the annoying bug i have described before, currently still unfixed.

I dont have this problem either…I use 3.5.2 on XP svc pack 3 and edit numerous several hundred page documents with no problems along this line. I have done some new docs based on 3.5.2 and have edited docs that were created on 3.0.x. Only issue I found in all this (function bug vs quirky feature) is that starting in 3.5, if I insert an JPG, writer inserts then jumps to the end of the doc…so I have to scroll back up to insertion point.

I would try to reinstall and see if that makes things better (3.5 uses a new install approach, so maybe your system cant handle that).
