I have an .ods file with many page styles. I want to delete some of these styles.

image description

From the page styles shown, I want to delete all of them except the first and the last one.

I know that I can click on one, either press right mouse button and select Delete or press the Delete button, and then answer Yes if necessary. But is there any way to delete multiple page styles at a time? I tried Shift-click and Ctrl-click without any avail.

Try macro from this queston - just set const prefixStyleName to "PageStyle_" and change "CellStyles" to "PageStyles"

This is a feature in the new coming version 4.2 (not stable), I think you can try it to solve the issue (please doing first a backup of your file) and follow the work in your stable version.

@mariosov Perhaps I will wait for the stable version to come out. I am afraid to try the unstable new version since my 4.1 does not let me delete even a single style. I click on delete, the style remains there without any error message.
