how do I stop pdf slideshow in libreoffice draw

my system is ubuntu 20.04
I am running libreoffice ver 6.4.5.2

When I run libreoffice and open a pdf file it displays it in a “slideshow mode”, where if I want go go from one page to the next page I have to go back to the navigation pane and select the next page. Is it possible to view the pdf file so that I can just keep pressing the “page down” key to move along in the document ?

Thanks. Toshiba-Satellite-C55-A-manual.odg

I have attached a ODF version of my PDF file

Only the Impress application has slide show feature - if I know it exatly…

Can you upload a sample pdf here?

How do I upload a file ? There is nothing on the webpage I am looking at that has anything to do with file uploading. All I see are ways to add a comment or give an answer.

Edit your original question. Then you will see some icons in the Header of the Edit box. Use the Attachment icon. Browse your ODF type file and then upload it here.

Or you can put a link of the sample file to a simple Comment too. In this case you must share the Sample file on a free file sharing service (Google drive or other).

when I went to edit my question, the attachment icon would not let me upload my PDF file.

Save the document into ODF file format before.

The LibreOffice can open the PDF files in the Draw application. The Draw application has not slideshow feature. You can switch between the drawing pages by usage the Slide pane, or by usage the key combination CTRL-PageDown

Thanks for the help.
