Using LO Version: with OSX 10.10.3

I'm editing a form in Base which has a solid colour background .

I want it to have a gradient colour background so I do the following:

  • Edit Form Right click on the background
  • Select and click on Page...
  • Select transparency from the pop up menu on Page Style: Default

  • Select Gradient from the list of bullet options (Note that the coloured panel changes from solid to gradient)

  • Click on Apply (note that the form's background colour DOES NOT change at this point until I resize it)

  • Click on OK close the form - electing to save the background gradient changes before closing

  • Open the form and see that the background is unchanged and still solid

What am I doing wrong?

Have found a solution.

  • At the Page Style: Default style
  • Click on the fill drop down select Bitmap
  • Deselect tile - AutoFit should be automatically selected
  • Click on Import Graphic - NB For gradient fill ensure graphic file is such
  • Click apply
  • Click save

And on re-opening the form it has a gradient filled background.

Not ideal, but it works!
