In MS office one can open a single Word document in different windows simultaneously and edit it in any of the windows. In this way one will be able to see multiple pages.
Is there a similar thing in LibreOffice Writer?
In the menu bar - select Window, then New Window.
That worked as expected, we can scroll to different locations. I don't know whether this is new, but that looks like like what OP was asking for.
This still is not possible in different apps let alone the same app. I simply want to open the same text file in writer and calc and can't because when you try to open it in the second app it just brings the first one to focus instead. Really limiting and irritating, and primitive by today's standards.
