Referenced memory error when exiting Calc 4.4.3

Recently upgraded from 4.2.2 to 4.4.3. Users will get a an error message when closing Calc (we do not use Writer or other apps enough to know if this happens with them also).

Windows title = DDE Server Window: soffice.bin - Application error
Message body = The instruction at " " referenced memory at " ". The memory could not be “read”. Click on OK to terminate.

The hex code references are not always the same. We are not seeing it on every file, or every time closing a specific file. We are seeing it on different types/models of machines - i.e. Windows XP SP3 on Pentium 4’s, Windows 7 SP1 on Core Duo’s, Windows 7 on i5’s, Windows 2008 servers with Quad cpus. There doesn’t seem to be any logic behind when it will appear.

We never saw this when on 4.0.3 or 4.2.2. There doesn’t appear to be any harm since it is when closing and files are not corrupted in any way.

Anyone know of why and what can be done to stop it?

I’m seeing this on a Win xp machine when trying to save cell formats in .xlsx documents. I’m also looking for a resolution.
