LibreOffice 5 crashes on startup on Mac OS 10.10

Also with previous LibreOffice versions (4.2) happened this. Very frequently when I open LibreOffice it crashes showing a crash report popup. Then, if I reopen LibreOffice from this popup it starts fine. I tried to remove every preference, every file of LO that may be on my macbook, reinstalled everything but the same problem appears. Also OpenOffice is crashing the same way, it's not related to the language (tried Italian and English either). This is very annoying, can somebody help me? Is it a bug?

I'm posting the crash report:

Hi Cristian

LO-5 is from LibreOffice Fresh & as such may be buggy. You need to get used to using Bugzilla (or the Bug Assistant).

The alternative is to use LibreOffice Still (more stable, less exciting).

If this helps then please tick the answer (✔)

No, this doesn't help. The issue is not related only to the "Fresh" versions. See e.g. https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/questi...

A workaround, which worked for me and some others: https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/questi...

Go to "System Preferences > Displays > Color", change the active color profile to "Generic RGB Profile", then start you LO again, and after that, change the active color profile back to your original setting.

I can't believe this worked. LibreOffice has been crashing repeatedly on open for that past few versions, even Still versions.

Yet, all I had to do was have my color set as Generic RGB Profile while LO opens. This is clearly the problem because as soon as I set the color back to normal, LO resumes with crashing on startup.
