Importing multi-page ODG into Impress

Hi fair LibreFolk

I am trying to import a multi(27 page) drawing into Impress, from Draw.
When I select all the drawings in Draw and click copy, and then paste them into Impress they work wonderfully! Boom, it’s in.
Save? No.
When I try and save I get a popup saying

"Error saving the document Slide Pack:
Write Error.
The file could not be written."

I see someone asked a similar question for a single page drawing here How to import .odg into Impress? but that doesn’t really work with the multi-page one. I obviously don’t want to save each drawing individually, cause that would suck.

Any other way around it?
Or thoughts?

Use Insert > File (in newer versions Insert > Object > File) . You only need to have the Draw document saved.

Version: 6.1.4.2 does not give me an error on saving.

Also: Insert > Object > File does not excist (anymore?)

It is menu Slide > Insert Slide from File now.
