I want to take the text contents of a frame in Writer and have it automatically entered into a second frame in the same document.

Adobe Acrobat had this feature. If I remember correctly all you had to do was give two textboxes the same name and they would mirror each other. Enter text into one and it would be entered into the second automatically.

You can InsertSection in the first frame and type the content in this section.

In second frame InsertSection▸check LinkSection:select Section1 in the listbox.

Note: use ToolsUpdateLinks (or All) to force the update

See DuplicatedFrames.odt (I have protected the second frame: Options tab)
