Calc, saves slow on first save on Linux Mint 18. [closed]
I'm running LibreOffice 5.1.4.2, build 1.5.1.4-0ubuntu1 on Linux Mint 18. When I load a spreadsheet into 'calc' and do a quick save, it takes about a minute or more to execute the save. After that 'first' save, I can make any number of changes and 'save' which takes the expected 2 or 3 seconds. If I close the spreadsheet and reopen it, its the same scenario, takes for ever to complete that first save. My mint 17.3 installation works as it should.
I have the exact same problem. I'm running the same --> Version: 5.1.4.2 Build ID: 1:5.1.4-0ubuntu1 CPU Threads: 4; OS Version: Linux 4.4; UI Render: default; Locale: en-CA (en_CA.UTF-8) on Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS.
Saving the exact same file on Version: 5.1.3.2 on Windows 6.1 works as expected.
The file is only 233 kb, however, it has 13 sheets, 15618 cells, 124 pages and 5146 formula groups. I suspect the complexity is cause the issues.
I thought an upgrade to Version: 5.2.2.2 Build ID: 1:5.2.2-0ubuntu1~xenial0 would have done it but it is the same or worse...
