Custom animation

I am using Version: 4.2.8.2 in Ubuntu 14.04.

Regarding the custom animation, suppose I have a sentence:

“This is the test SENTENCE”.

If I would like “This is the test” to appear first followed by “SENTENCE” to appear next, what should I do?

When I use the appear option by selecting the required text, the entire sentence appears, instead of just the selected text.

Just create two different text boxes, and add the animation to each of them.
