How can I recover a previous version of a file

I saw a thread on this but I tried to follow the steps... and I just arrived at blank folders that seemed to show no files. I believe the auto backup thing is activated.

I got stuck at this point, this is where I just arrived at the folders that appear empty yet they hold my files.......

Have you active the option for backups? Menu/Tools/Options/LibreOffice/Load Save/General
