Convert pdf to Calc

I am presented with a pdf document that contains a large table that I use.

I would like to convert the pdf, or at least the table, to Calc. Is there a way to do this?

Normally you can open a PDF with Draw. Give it a try. Maybe you can extract the table. I did not test it. Please give feedback afterwards.

@Hrbrgr - this won’t work, since importing a pdf created from a calc table (spreadsheet) will import each cell as a separate / single text field in Draw. IMO the answer to OPs question Is there a way to do this? simply is: No

Thanks @anon73440385.

These sites say they can convert directly. YMMV. If your document is at all private I’d suggest going a different route.

You could also convert PDF to text and then import into Calc. There’s always pdftotext. Some editing will probably be required.

But, AFAIK, there’s is no direct way in LibreOffice to convert PDF directly to an editable document, save Draw (a vector graphic format).

This is a question already answered here:

You can use Tabula
