2 problems - Infinate loop and deleting a "?"

2 - 3 times per day LOCALC goes into an infinate loop where I have to shut it down manually and reload?

I am trying to simlify E-mails like this:

Simplify to: jpbroheimer@achomaha.org
I do a CTR-M
Using FIND AND REPLACE, I can replace all but the “?”.
Any ideas ?

Check, if “regular expressions” is selected, because ? is a special character there. If you need regular expressions, search for \?
Otherwise switch it off.
