5.1.1 windows 10 installer problem

When I click on the msi file (downloaded from the official libreoffice site) and run as administrator (or even just double clicking) I get an installer message that says “This installation package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package”

I’ve hunted high and low for a solution but to no avail. I’m trying to install this onto a lenovo pc running windows 10 64bit.

How can I resolve this

I’m having the exact same problem (same installer message, word for word)! I’ve had no problem installing older versions of LibreOffice in the past on the same system, so I think it must be something different with the download file. My system is also a Lenovo, and it’s Windows 7, 64-bit.
