I’ve used Libre Office for years. I got a prompt to update. I successfully downloaded and installed version 5.4.6, on my Mac OS 10.9.5. The application shows in my Apps folder, the installation is complete. But when I click on the app to open it, a small window opens saying “Verifying …” with the candy-cane bar moving. It never stops, the verification never ends, and I can’t stop it. I have to restart the computer. I’ve deleted the application and gone through the download and installation process again, successfully, but again it hangs on that verification window.
What do I do??
I have many files in .odt that I need to work with, but now have no OpenOffice app that runs!
