Takes up about 8X as much memory as when loaded.
Have 1 small calc sheet and 1 small writer document running…
Calc sheet has following characteristics…
- When right click on a cell it takes a loooong time for choices to come up…
- When you change cells it takes a loooong time…
- When you close out it takes a looooooooooooong time to close…
- CPU usage is high during these days, like 33%…
- Memory in this example (for both Calc and Writer) is 110mb, 50mb for Calc when loaded.
Every time you right click on a cell it takes up a bit more memory. Does not happen if you select the command off the top tool bar.
Finally shut it down when wait was way to long. Memory was 400+mb.
During shutdown the memory would slowly decrease until it got to about the 110mb and then the sheet closed.
Memory after closing was 65mb…
- After restarting the sheet responds normally…
- Problem reappears after leaving the machine idle for a while with no inputs and has gone to sleep…
- The problem now starts as soon as you open Calc.
