7.4.3 x64 crashing on Windows repeatedly

Windows 10 pro, 22h2. Been using this software for years and never had an issue. Also haven’t updated in well over a year, maybe two, but finally did a couple days ago and have been having regular crashes ever since. The recovery window pops up and claims to recover my work, but 100% of it is missing every time. Seems to happen with everything (writer, calc, impress, etc.).

Currently re-downloading and reinstalling. Would appreciate any tips, am new here.

Try clicking Tools - Options - LibreOffice - View and untick the box Use Skia for all rendering.

Re-installing rarely solves problems with LibreOffice (or Apache OpenOffice, for that matter). It’s not worth the effort until you have attempted all other possible paths. You can try to reset the user profile. Reset your user profile. See LibreOffice user profile - The Document Foundation Wiki for help. Note: you rename the old profile, so your user settings are safe, and you can later copy them from the old profile to the new one. Do that when LibreOffice is not running.

But first try @EarnestAl’s suggestion.
