Access Denied to Writer Files

I have a few non administrative Windows accounts on my PC which I will refer to as Pu, Ja, and Ma.

From all three accounts, “Access Denied” was the message when I double-clicked on *.docx and *. doc files from Windows Explorer. The same message appeared when I tried to launch Writer from the Windows 10 Start Menu. When I open Calc from Ja and in the menu choose File Open I can open these documents.

From Windows Explorer in all three accounts I can open the *.xls and *.xlsx files by double clicking on them from Windows Explorer.

All of the these files were created with Libre 5.2.2.2. On 12/30/2019 I upgraded to 6.3.3.2 (x64).

may be, but they were created administratively.

You have to share the files, see: File sharing over a network in Windows 10

This is a pure problem with your Windows 10 operating system.

It has nothing to do with LibreOffice.
