Accessing trend line data

The Category list is in Chinese, so I cannot select a value meaningfully, and I cannot submit this without selecting a Category, so the Category is likely wrong. Please change it to be appropriate: I cannot do this.

I have acoustic data in one column, and have graphed that data. I also created a trend line using moving averages. I would like the data that is represented by the trend line to be exported into a different column so that I can use it, but I cannot find any way to do this.

Many articles talk about copying the trend line formula, but I do not see how there is a simple formula (such as for a linear regression) in this case.

Thanks

Jon

So says Help (the Trend Lines topic):

  • Moving average trend line: simple moving average is calculated with the n previous y-values, n being the period. No equation is available for this trend line.

For formulas describing the points of the regression curve of type moving average see:

I do not want an equation. I want the values that were calculated/plotted. I was merely pointing out that, in this case, the equation is not available, so that facility is useless.

In general, if the software creates a new set of values, those values should be accessible if desired.

I wrote a program in Pascal to solve the problem for myself, but others may want to get access to the calculated data.
