Add dutch and german language writing aids to LO 6.2.3

Try as I may I don’t seem to find the dutch and german wrting aid for LO 6.2.3. I installed it on a Centos 7 linux from the download and I got English, French and Spanish writing aids which appears to be consistent with:

$ yum list *dict* *spell*

libreoffice6.2-dict-en.x86_64 6.2.3.2-2 installed
libreoffice6.2-dict-es.x86_64 6.2.3.2-2 installed
libreoffice6.2-dict-fr.x86_64 6.2.3.2-2 installed

But I cannot find e.g. libreoffice6.2-dict-nl.x86_64 for download (assuming it’s the one I need).

on a Centos 7 linux from the download

From which download? CentOS repositories or libreoffice.org repositories?

Hello

the 3 dict packages you already have are part of the base libreoffice package and therefore installed by default. All other dict packages are part of the respective language package. Thus you need to get

DE Language Pack
http://download.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/stable/6.2.3/rpm/x86_64/LibreOffice_6.2.3_Linux_x86-64_rpm_langpack_de.tar.gz

NL Language Pack
http://download.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/stable/6.2.3/rpm/x86_64/LibreOffice_6.2.3_Linux_x86-64_rpm_langpack_nl.tar.gz

May be CentOS provides their own language packages.

Try yum search libreoffice-langpack-nl and yum search libreoffice-langpack-deon CentOS, if you are using CentOS repositories.

Many thanks for your comprehensive answer: Centos 7 does appear to have the packages but they appear to be for L0 version 5.3 (which it originally is installed with). So I download the the files and installed the RPMs. Everything appears to work as indented now.

If you only want writing aids, you can simply install respective extensions.
