As Mikes answer below shows, this search exists, the questions are:
- Wich version of LibreOffice do you use?
- Have you added own modifications of the menu? This may prevent newer additions from showing on your system. Try safe-mode, as this would ignore your settings.
Just a note: in this case, custom modifications won’t prevent seeing this. We have the problem with customizations interfering with the updates, related to the customizable parts of the UI: namely, menus, toolbars - i.e., the things you can customize through Tools
→ Customize
. Dialogs aren’t customizable → there’s no way to have a customization that prevents the new Search functionality inside the Options
dialog.
Note that there is a bigger problem with this “question” tagged suggestion
