Adjusting Image Height with frame style in LibreOffice Writer

To resize an image in LibreOffice Writer while maintaining its aspect ratio, specifically setting the image’s height, I navigate to the Type\Size options.

However the Relative to, AutoSize, Keep ratio, and at least settings are too complex. I can’t figure out it. I can not keep ratio at all.

Could you improve your question by describing use cases?
In your screenshot, Keep ratio is not ticked.
Also frame styles are very “delicate”. Their behaviour departs somewhat from more traditional styles like paragraph and character styles. In particular, they are very very sensitive to direct formatting (and Ctrl+M has no effect on their direct formatting). Update does not always occur after style changes, requiring a manual action.

I recommend sizing your graphics in a graphics editor before inserting them into a LO Writer document.

That said, you might try this. Insert your image into your document. Rather than going to the Frame Styles area of the Styles deck, simply right click on the image and select Properties.

The Position and Size tab of the Image dialog that opens will be different from the Type tab of the Frame Style Graphics dialog. There are no AutoSize check boxes. Instead, simply check Keep ratio. Then, set the Height you want. The Width will be adjusted automatically.
