After update to 6.1.2.1, LO hangs if Help>about Libreoffice is selected

This condition happens in LO, writer and calc. The system is Ubuntu 16. Only with the terminal command “libreoffice --version” could I determine the version is 6.1.2.1

I am unable to reproduce this behaviour with the same version of LO under Linux Mint 19.
