After upgrading to Ubuntu 18.04 most english fonts were removed

I upgraded to Ubuntu 18.04. Fonts that I used on several documents are gone. There are Arabic/Asian fonts added I don’t need or want. Instructions on the internet are scarce and confusing. How does an average user get the old fonts back? Please don’t tell me I have to install them one at a time.

and

How do I get rid of the unwanted fonts?

What specific fonts are you missing?

As all you can do is give me a runaround instead of help, And Ubuntu does not want to cover this. It is probably better to go to open office. I do NOT have the time to screw around with this. As for fonts. How the hell can I tell? It changed them. gabix, ask an intelligent question Ubuntu 18.04 is an OS. No need to be snotty

Ubuntu 18.04 installs LibreOffice 6.
