All I want to do is select multiple objects at the same time

I keep seeing the "use draw instead of writer, draw a rectangle box around your pics, blah, blah, blah. Unfortunately for me these workarounds don’t work. I need to select multiple lines that I’ve added to a table in order to change their thickness. Can’t do that by drawing a rectangle around the lines. These lines are spanning across many cells. if anyone has a suggestion, Im all ears!
I’m using open office writer 3.0 in case it makes a difference.

Thanks, Ingrid

Hello Ingrid,
if you mean those Horizontal Lines which can be inserted from the menu Insert:Horizontal Line, here’s how to adjust their thickness:

  1. Select the cells which contain the Horizontal Line
  2. Right-click on the selection and choose the menu option “Edit Paragraph Style…”
  3. In the dialog that pops up, select the tab “Borders”
  4. there you can specify the Line Style, Line Width, and Line Color
