All suite loading any file slow

Hi, I just update my Libreoffice

Version: 6.4.5.2
Build ID: 1:6.4.5-0ubuntu0.18.04.1
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 4.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3;
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US

My Laptop is Thinkpad Yoga370

Opening any local file ( empty or not ) will have 5s loading delay ( the application window is open but all grey ).

Opening the application only without loading file works normally

Previously doesn’t not have any problem.

From your Build ID I take the assumption that you are using PPA repository and hence you may need to turn to PPA maintainers.

Your option is: Test your procedure using LibreOffice in **Safe Mode** (`Help -> Restart in Safe Mode` and open a file). If that opens your file(s) normally, then you may need to reset your LibreOffice user profile (also via `Help -> Restart in Safe Mode` and option `[o] Reset to factory settings`)

Yep apparently the profile is corrupt, I forget that you can reset the profile. Works ok now.

Why does LibrOffice starts so slow?

After not finding a solution in previous answers, I hope for a new answer that would solve the problem … I’m running vs. 6.3.3 in a 64 bit environment under Windows 10 Pro. No matter whether I start Writer directly of by clicking an .odt document, I have to wait around 65 seconds before I the program is started so far that I can start working. What can I do to get it much faster started? (Comparing with OO that is ready starting after ca 10 seconds).

Apparently it only works once, after some time it break again and restarting in safe mode and reset the profile no longer works
