All Word Docs are changing to Libre Office - Mac OS

I am not tech savvy! My Word docs are all converting/defaulting to LibreOffice Docs. I have Mac OS Monterey. Version 12.2.

I’ve attempted a few of the suggestions on earlier posts along these lines, but it is only damaging my documents that I try to convert back to Word.

Ultimately, I want the default to be Word rather than Libre Office.

How amazing! I don’t even want to tell you how many frustrating hours I’ve spent on this.

Google, or any other search engine, is your friend. I found that link, along with many others in a few moments via a simple web search for mac set default applications.

Well, there you go! I’m so tech suppressed I didn’t realize it was an issue concerning default applications. Gotta know what you’re after - my searches for things such as “LibreOffice converting Word docs” which is evidently a whole different animal! I’m glad the world has kind folks like you in it - I’ll sleep better tonight with that off my mind:) Thanks again.
