I’m a relative newcomer to LO.
I have been able to anchor am image, but I wonder how can I anchor a large table, so it won’t get split between pages? Any help would be appreciated.
Tables are treated as “large single characters”
right-click a table > Table > Text Flow …, and choose your options to allow or not allow it to split across pages.
If you want to position tables in the same way you can with images, insert them inside a frame (Insert → Frame → Frame): frames accept all anchor settings.
This suggestion worked great. It will still require you to expand the dimensions of the frame to fit the table, but that can be set manually; alternatively, if you know the exact dimensions of the table, you can type that into the prompt.
