Set up save every 5 min. I believed there would be a backup copy, or a folder with my recovery stuff. Nothing. Besides losing a couple days work, I’m disillusioned and sad. Any chance the back up is still somewhere?

Note: If you haven’t saved the document at all (File > Save), then a backup won’t be saved.
Note 2: If LibreOffice crashed, say by shutting down Windows without shutting down LibreOffice first there is a possibility a file in the Temporary Files (path in Menu>Tools>Options>LibreOffice>Paths). There could be a folder beginning lu and with an extension of .tmp of roughly the date of your file. Copy the largest file beginning lu to another folder, open LibreOffice and then open the file from the LibreOffice dialogue.
