Just wondering… are there any plans to fully integrate TexMaths with LibreOffice?
Currently I cannot get TexMaths to work on my windows install and the alternative Math editor is limited in some aspects (not allowing for inline equations for example).
Coming from an engineering background being able to work with equations is vital. I am stuck!
Have you had a look at DMATHS which does run under LibreOffice as an extension? You can find it at http://dmaths.org/. Or try http://extensions.libreoffice.org/extension-center/dmaths. This has considerably more function than the Math Editor.
If you have problems using the above links, you could try the alternative link Dmaths abholen which seems to work…

I have successdully installed it under my LO4.4. So far it looks very interesting and solves the problem of inline equations. The icons are ugly though…
