AOO's announcement for future update

I just found AOO developers posted the intention to implement plain text interface here. Maybe they just want something wet in their mind at the time.

The Apache OpenOffice Development Team is proud to announce that the next releases will introduce an important change: a text-only user interface.

BTW I also found the following update for their announcement:

Vector graphics can now be copied and pasted between OpenOffice and other applications in the SVG format, that will help make prettier documents and increase interoperability between applications.

It’s interested to know whether LibreOffice got implementation as well, and make a PK to see which one have better behavior.

Examine also the “proposed release date is April 31st, 2024” and the list of supported hardware/OS for this, wich is not supported by LibreOffice.

That gives me tears of nostalgia, or was it frustration? I was very proud of my 16 colour laptop at the time.

I do like the idea of being able to paste as svg however.
