Trying to assign ^U (ctrl-shift-u) to char style Vecuni with Tools>Customize>Kbd fails; box Keys remains empty —screenshot. How to do it?
Dumb question from me: you did click Modify? Because it seems to work for me with all character styles.

Then you will see Vecuni to the right of Ctrl+Shift+U in the upper blue bar. Until that, there is no new shortcut key.
