auto-capitalization problem

None of my auto-correct while typing options seem to work.

I checked Tools > AutoCorrect > AutoCorrect options and everything seems to be checked as it is supposed to.

I’m using Libre office 7.0.4.2 on Manjaro Linux (kernel 5.4.100-1). I am experiencing the problem when using both .odt and .docx.

I hope someone can help! Thanks.

I am also certain that Tools > Autocorrect > While Typing is checked.

What language shows in the bar at the bottom of the screen in Writer? If it says “None” then AutoCorrect won’t work
