Auto-correct issue?

Type any uppercase letter, followed by an uppercase “L” followed by a lowercase “L”.

For example: enter QLl and the cell displays: Qll,
Whereas: QQLl displays QQLl.

(Gnumeric does the same correction.)
What am I not understanding?

you can disable the behavior by Tools -> AutoCorrect Options...->Tab: Options -> Option: [ ] Correct TWo INitial CApitals (in Calc - the setting in Writer is in Tools -> AutoCorrect -> AutoCorrect Options...->Tab: Options -> Option: [ ] [ ] Correct TWo INitial CApitals)
