automatic numbering table cells

Using Writer I have a table of 3 columns and 30 rows. How can I automatically number the rows in the first column? (I’m still fairly new to this program so, please, be gentle!)

Select your entire table
Right click on it
Select Format Number
Choose what you need

… and have fun!

In LibO the context menu is pretty good. I use it very often and can do what is needed.
