I’m using latest version of LibreOffice, and running Windows 10. I selected the auto backup feature also. I know the Tools / Options / Path method to get the location of the backup files. But I can’t figure how to get to the actual file(s). Can you help? Thanks.
Open Windows File Explorer, select View - Options - Change folder and search options. In the dialogue that opens, select the View tab and in Advanced Settings tick the box Show hidden files, folders and drivers. OK.
Now you can navigate to the folder containing the backups. The files have extension .bak. Copy your chosen backup to documents, open LibreOffice then select File - Open and navigate to your copied file.

Thanks so much! Hope you get this, as I am not too familiar with this site.
