To create barcodes, there are two very good systems.
The first is already inside libre office insert / object / barcode and qr.
The other method is to use an extension (Barcode » Extensions).
I would like to be able to use one of the two, by writing a recall function inside a cell, and not manually going to the insert menu.

For feature requests best file a Request For Enhancement (RFE) bug, but in this case there seems to be one already tdf#145358.
