Base .odb opens in writer

LibreOffice 4.2.6 on W7 64-bit

Opened Base, entered and updated some records in a flat table, ran some reports, saved, and shutdown computer.
Now when attempting to open the .odb Writer opens with gibberish.

How can I get Base to open the file again?

Any help would be appreciated.

Rebuilt from a previous weeks backup Thx.

The file has become corrupted. As @Kayem68 said you will need to use a backup.
