discovered can no longer edit Radio Buttons on existing forms. Forms have been in use for 3/4 years and are still working in HSQLDB versions but as cannot edit there unable to transition to Firebird. Clearly not a Firebird related problem. Need to edit as field name lengths (and Table name lengths) have to be truncated to suit 30 character limit in Firebird. Seems if a button is selected and data content inspected the next button says it has same data content!

Hi Ratslinger, sorry if I have wasted your time I am confusing Grouped Radio Buttons and Checkboxes. Both are working properly, just been years since I set them up. Apologies. I tried to look for latest Base Manuals presuming they should have been updated since V4 which is about when I did this stuff.
Will be continuing transition to Firebird tomorrow, so far your input has been invaluable, especially info re rst.last issue

Glad all is OK. No time wasted - all OK. If any problems with Firebird will be glad to help. Have used both embedded & server for some time not. Once you get past initial setup you will find it works well.
